Unionized carpenters are members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, which represents carpenters and related construction trades professionals in the state of New York. In addition to woodworking and framing, they analyze blueprints, cut materials to size, and construct them using hand tools and power tools. They can work on any project, from small, delicate artwork to massive buildings.
